Capital Air Filters, Inc. collects the following personal information when you place an order:

The primary goals in collecting personal information are to allow Capital Air Filters, Inc. to fulfill orders and provide superior online customer service. Capital Air Filters, Inc. uses the Customer contact information to fill orders, provide Customers with an order confirmation, inform Customers of their order status, and to enhance the operation of the web site.
Capital Air Filters, Inc. does not sell, lease, rent, or otherwise distribute your personal information or communications (including emails) to any person, party, or organization outside of the company. We must share your name and address with the shipping carrier delivering your order. If your order is palletized, your phone number will also be shared with the carrier in order to facilitate coordinating the delivery.
Safe Technology - Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard for secure online commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the internet to the Capital Air Filters, Inc protected database.

Capital Air Filters, Inc. does not send unsolicited emails to any person, party, or organization. Capital Air Filters, Inc. will not share your email address with any third party source.
During the normal course of business, Capital Air Filters, Inc. will only send you the following three emails:
1. Order confirmation
2. Shipping confirmation with tracking number once your order has shipped
3. Request for you to leave a review of your order
The only exceptions to the instances mentioned above are
1. if you voluntarily sign up for one of our other services (Email Reminder Program or Automatic Reorder Program)
2. if we need to communicate with you in regard to an order that you placed, or
3. if we are responding to your communications to us, or
4. to provide a receipt for an over-the-phone credit card transaction.
If you need to cancel or modify an order, please call us as soon as possible. We strive to ship within 24 hours, and once your order has shipped, if your order cannot be rerouted, you will need to use our return process instead.
If you need to return a case of filters, please notify us at your earliest convenience, and no later than 30 days after receipt. Buyer is responsible for return shipping. When we receive your returned product, if it is still in good condition, we will issue a refund for the price of the items to your original payment method, minus a 20% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Sales tax of 7.25% on the order total will be charged on orders shipping to North Carolina addresses.
We ship to the contiguous United States via UPS or USPS.
Orders going to APO boxes (military mail), Hawaii, and Alaska ship via USPS.
Large orders, or orders for equipment, may be shipped by other carriers at Capital Air Filters' discretion.
For international orders, please order through our eBay store.
Shipping charges will be automatically calculated and added to your order prior to checkout. If you wish to use your carrier account instead, please contact us.
Orders for filters will ship within 2 days of order placement. Orders for equipment and palletized orders may take up to 5 days to ship. In the unlikely event that we are unable to ship your order within this time frame, you will be notified. Normal transit time via UPS Ground or USPS is 2 to 5 days within the contiguous United States.
If you need to correct a destination address, please call us immediately!
Capital Air Filters, Inc. is not responsible for any lost package that is incorrectly addressed due to customer error. We generate our shipping labels from the information the customer provides, so if you enter an incorrect or incomplete address (incorrect zip code, missing apartment/suite/office number/name etc.) and your package is lost, Capital Air Filters, Inc. is not responsible.
If your order has already shipped and must be re-routed by the carrier, you will be charged an additional fee.
If you decide you no longer want the order and refuse the package, a refusal fee will be deducted from your refund. (The refusal fee is calculated from UPS return charges.)
If you contact us by phone after your order has been placed regarding an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, we will make every effort to correct your information prior to your package being shipped. However, once your package has shipped, we may not be able to correct or re-route your shipment. If your order is lost or delivered to the incorrect address, Capital Air Filters, Inc. is not responsible.
Custom size air filters are built to your exact specifications. As a result, these filters may not be returned. All custom size air filters are built to tolerances of + or - 1/8".
CAUTION: Most air filters are stamped with a size that is NOT the actual dimension of the filter.
Example: A 16x25x1 filter typically measures 15 1/2 x 24 1/2 x 3/4. Please MEASURE your current air filter to get the exact dimensions.
1/2" filters measure approximately 3/8"
1" filters measure approximately 3/4"
2" filters measure approximately 1 3/4"
4" filters measure approximately 3 5/8
